Many years ago...
I had a Rottweiler named Angus (after AC/DC guitarist). Best dog that ever lived. I lived in a rented house bordering the Morton Meadows projects (literally, the other side of my back wall was a project). I had a buddy that worked at Millers. He used to bring over whole cow leg bones for Angus. My backyard was kind of a scary looking place with all those cow bones and a Rottweiler and stuff. But there's no accounting for the stupidity of criminals.
I was working swing shift at the time. One night, I come home, and Angus comes running up with a brand spanking new Nike in his mouth. Never found out how he got it, but damn was that dog proud of it!
