I have always paid full taxes and accounted for every cash job I have ever done. It’s the honest thing to do.

I've always made homeless people promise me they would not buy food with the money before giving it to them.

I can't afford it anymore but for a lot of years one of my Christmas traditions was handing out ten, $20 bills to the winos at the old N. Temple liquor store. I'd hold it out to them, then pull it back and say "you have to promise me you won't spend this on food" before handing it to them. Biggest smiles you've ever seen.

They aren't loopholes. The are intentionally put into place by the people making the rules so they can exploit them. I call that the system working as designed.
