ok its a 94 Town car and I can get the entire car for cheep,

I'm wanting to install this thing in my Zuk, ok no jokes needed.

I'm building a serious crawler, ok not to serious I'm only using 44's and nothing bigger than a 38" tire.

My thoughts/ questions would be the trans type and length.
I just want to make sure I can use this combo with a divorsed t case.
I guess I can call a trans shop I just got excited.

Some more info for ya.
The wheel base is going to be about 110" so I have a little room to work with.

Start tossing the info/ suggestions out there.

The Zuk tcase will not hold up to the 5.0 for very long!
44's and 38's is not a good idea either....I tore a spindle clean off and have seen others do the same....
No more than a mild v6 with the Sami case, light 37's (mtr) or 35's, no bigger on 44's.

There not going to be stock 44's. They will have all the goodies in them, CTMs etc etc so 38's will not be a problem with the weight I'll be carrying.

I ran 36's on stock zuk axles for 4 years and never broke anything. It's all about finesse.
Currently I'm running 37's on a Dana 30 and 8.8, what do ya know everythings holding up fine.
More than likely I wont be running a zuk t case so dont worry about that either.

I'm not building a comp buggy, it’s a weekend toy.

Keep em comming.

Does anyone know how long this engine trans is? The car is 3 hours from me so I cant run over to measure.

What kind of crawling do you do? Coyote canyon, pritchet canyon or hells revenge, moab rim? I dont think I would trust the 44 and 38s. I sport 37 mtrs, 44 front with all the goodies and a 4.3 votec and I have broken a few moser hardened shafts. 5.0, 44 and 38s, no go for me. Just my opinion.....:D

Heldardo, Coyote, Pritchet, Moab Rim, Poisen Spider, Hells Revenge, the Con you name it I've ran it.

37's and a Dana 30 in the front 8.8 in the rear.

Ok ok maybe I should tell ya I have a Super 30 kit in the front with CTM's and Yukon Axles in the rear.

There is still allot to be said for finesse and (gearing).

But holding up fine.

Oh ya, in the old Zuk I had a Sprdertrax Full Floater in the rear and Trail Tough Double Tough axles in the front so I guess I wasnt completly truthfull, But I was still running 36" Swampers and running the same trails.
