Little Bighorn National Monument

Since this trip didn't involve any sort of off-pavement driving I'm posting this here.

This was a little side trip I took on Saturday on my way up to Billings, Montana

I've been there 3xs. The t shirts at the Crow store are better than the ones in the park gift shop.

I went there last year on my way through for work. I loved how the Indian markers were way cooler than the US markers as was the Indian monument. It was a nice tribute to Custer and his boys going into a known suicide mission and getting their asses handed to them...then, as now, the government never lets a good "tragedy" go to waste. It was sad to learn that this event was the catalyst for the further persecution of the native people in the name of religion and country. Kinda sounds like our current gun control issue.

I couldn't help but be proud of the Native warriors for standing up to the US bullying them while simultaneously feeling sorry for the US troops for knowingly being sent to the slaughter. It is a great place to explore and I highly recommend several hours to take it all in.
