We're taking the Maverick (UTV) down to the dunes tomorrow. Should arrive at Sand Mountain around 11am.
It would be nice to have a buddy to pull me out next time I'm too timid crossing the crest of a dune! Anybody is welcome, even trucks/Jeeps/etc. The sand was pretty moist out at Knolls on Wednesday and I'd bet conditions are similar out at Little Sahara. With some gratuitous throttle and aired down tires, most rigs should be able to have a lot fun out there. We did great, even climbing the steep stuff, with just our Bighorn AT's.
Post up if you want to come and we'll bring a little grill and some burgers to share.
