Whew what a day! I love Little Moab and I LOVE my new 33's!
Nobody in our group broke anything while wheelin, Caste got a bolt in his tire and it went flat, but nothing major.
Pictures to come as soon as I get some on my computer.
But the bad stuff happened on the way home. I was following my dad Toby on the freeway, at about 3300 south the Rubicon started smokin real bad. So we pulled off the freeway and when we got to the parking lot it dumped a puddle of ATF all over the parking lot. Out of the rear seal on the t-case!
So off to the shop goes Rubi!

So the rubi is a auto??? I thought that it was a 5 speed..
If it was auto then it is the tranny seal but if it is a manual oh baby you got to love warrenty.

hey my wife let me go and to top thing off i lost her keys so she had to stay home, boy was i in hot water, it was a blast though really good time
Man, it was a blast. My first time out there. Gave me an idea of how my rig is going to work in Moab.
Haven't been down there in several years either and the Scrambler has never been down.
Met a lot of great people today and had a great time wheeling w/ ya folks. Thanx for the invite.

No Demon the Rubi is a manual, the ATF was coming out of the t-case.
Sorry about that Wayne, but we didnt pack a lunch and so we were starving, by the time you got there.

My dads Rubi did great until the drive home, Brents Rubi did awesome, and the was some guy out there in a stock Rubi that was not really wheelin that much.

Thanks for the compliment Shawn but my wife wanted to clear things up its Megan's Rubie and next trip she gets to show me up.
Is Toby going to the "Rubicon only" on 4/17 in moab. I'm going but I'm going to drive the Rubie one last time and I've got to turn it over to the owner

What is the Rubicon only thing in Moab? We haven't heard about this.
But I can say this, unless the Jeep dealer can rectify the problems that his Rubi has, he will be reconsidering ownership of the vehicle.
We started thinking about building the white TJ that we own, instead of the Rubi.
