Boy does that bring back memories .I built a 50 stud pickup years ago. I used a 351 c and a fmx auto for running gear. I thought it was a great looking truck I caved and sold the truck so my wife could have a panio. I wonder were it is now?

Good for you Marc!! :hickey: What's the overall plan, chop, channel, etc?

From my research it doesn't look like I will need to chanel it to set it low....Chop?? not sure, I like the lines as is....
Probably gonna try to get it running as is for now, just 'cus....Then when I find a motor and trans, It will begin....
I want to box the frame, put in a narrowed 9" (THANKS RUSS), coilovers and ladderbars, also some front suspension rework, disk brakes all around, port 15 the floors/dyna mat/upolster, low back suspension buckets and a simpson kid seat.

As for body, I am leaning towards pinned flames on the petina and just clearing it....Or do some body work and por15 the whole damm thing! Not full on rat, but not gold chain crowd by any means!!:greg:

My dad has a 390 if you're interested. It is in a 68 ford 3/4 ton 2wd pick-up with a man. trans. He'll sell the truck for $500, it runs and is licensed.

PM if you are interested.:D
