Looking at a Wrangler

back on topic, get barts. you wont do better i'm bettin' If you really want it built, you already have a case and axles, highline, cage, etc. a great deal.

Just watch out for frame rust when searching for your YJ, and any leaks or anything if you don't really care to fix them. Check all the lights for any wiring issues. again try to get one with the newer 4.0 and not the 4.2... the 4.2 has the carburator that you won't care for at all off-road. pretty much any YJ you will find iirc will have the NP231 transfer case, and so if you are lifting more than 3" you will definitely want a slip yoke eliminator kit. (there are a few different options out there) If you end up buying one with a manual that has a bad clutch or or flywheel or pressure plate I have one I'll sell ya for cheap! and then also all of the regular 4wd stuff.. U-joints mainly..

The 4.2 carb might actually kill you on a long, steep climb, by cutting fuel to the engine, and forcing you to use manual brakes as you careen backwards down the hill. I'm just sayin'.

haha I have even had that happen to me with my MPFI 4.0.. stalled the engine (low on trans fluid) and it sent me down the mountain backwards... the girlfriend never went wheelin with me again.
