Looking for a Drafter

Since there always seems to be people on here looking for jobs, I thought I would post this up in here FYI.

Plate steel shop in Salt Lake City looking to hire (1), possibly (2) full-time drafters for our engineering department. Associates degree in drafting or experience using AutoCAD 2000 or newer. Background in welding or fabrication a strong plus. Possibility for overtime. Pay rate is between $10.00 and $15.00 per hour, depending on experience. Benefits include healthcare, vision, dental, tuition-reimbursement for work-related studies, 401k plan, profit-sharing, vacation, and paid holidays.

If you were in Utah County, I'd apply. Unfortunately though, I'm going back to school at UVSC and I'm having to quit my drafting job in SLC so I don't have to commute anymore. It'd be awesome to work in a steel shop! skylinerider on the board is looking though, maybe try PMing him if he doesn't reply to this thread.

He already knows about it. We are having a hard time getting half decent people to send in resume's. We've got about 15 resume's over the past 3 weeks, and only interviewed 2 of them. All the rest don't have the background, or don't call back to schedule an interview when we call them to schedule one.

It's actually a pretty cool job. I love working with steel. Plus I get cool discounts on steel working here. You wouldn't believe how much cheaper steel is for companies like our that buy in such quantities.

BTT, we need help in a bad way. I was jsut told 60 hours a week isn't cutting it! Someone out there needs this job and has decent enough qualifications, come get it. If you have ever worked as a drafter and need a job, let me know.
