Wanted Looking for FFL or a local AR style rifle to buy

Building one is a lot more simple than you'd think, though you might end up spending more than the one you linked. But, you'd be able to pick and choose what you want.

Any reason you want a 1/9 twist? Thinking of heavier projectiles?(if I remember that correctly...)

I and I'm sure others have wrenches for building an upper, if you decide to go that route.

That particular firearm was recommended as a good starter. no particular preference other than that

We should have spent some time at my house when you are looking at the jeep. I have some AR15s that will fit your needs.

I bought the PSA rifle kit, then bought the stripped lower separately. There is a couple good YouTube Tutorials for building them.

Building is fun and educational. It's also not nearly as hard as I thought it would be. First couple I built, I found a couple youtube videos, pulled them up on my iPad, took that down to my gun bench and just went step-by-step pausing as needed. I too have the tools you are welcome to borrow and am happy to help as well (I've built several but won't make any claim to be an expert ). I've been thinking about building another actually.
