Any RME'ers that do this for a living, or have the equipment and knowledge? I'm looking to get ~50' of curbing done, possibly more.

Not neccesarily this fancy, but you get the idea. :)

I used to work with a guy that did it on the side, helped him on a few jobs. It's been ten years so I'm not sure if he does it anymore.
If you were thinking about DYI...

machine isn't very complex, basically a motor/engine pushing a ram back and forth about a 6" stroke pushing the concrete into the form.

Mix he used was mostly sand not a lot of aggregate in it.

DIY is an option, but not one I'm real excited about...

I did call a local contractor that does it, and it's $2.50/ft and up with a 100 ft minimum. To me that isn't worth the hassle of doing it on my own. Maybe I'm just lazy.

To be honest, at $2.50 a foot I'd be tempted to sit on the porch and watch... ;)

Yup.:) Add color, antiquing, texture, sod removal and it goes up in Quarter increments pretty quick, but I still don't want to do it myself.

Most guys will do a small amount like you need but they charge a lot (relatively) to do it. Usually if you can find a need for 100'+ the cost will go down enough that you'll almost get that extra 50' for free. You shouldn't pay more than about $3 a foot right now for sod removal, color, stamp, second color (antiquing), and sealing. IMO, not worth the hassle of doing it yourself. Look in the junk advertisements you get in the mail, there is always a couple advertising a deal in them.

I'll look for the ads... The few companies I've talked to all had a 100' minimum, which is fine, because I have another 50' I can do in the front yard. :)
