You might want to try reading what you are posting before hitting the submit button.

From the title and what little I could understand from your post, you are looking for somebody to lead you around today on some trails.

Try retyping your post and add some things like capital letters and periods so that people can actually read it.

I thought you were looking for a hit man. I've been told that you don't mess with texas, so I don't plan on taking any texans out, even if i could.

Now if there were some texans that like to wheel, and they're looking for more people to wheel with, that's a different story.

Do you guys live in texas, or do you now live in Utah?

Sorry would love to show you around but at the moment I'm Jeepless. Keep an eye on this section when people go out sometimes they post up asking if others would like to go. Please also take the time to head over to Utah Four Wheel Drive Associations web site and possibly donate or at least do some reading of the states current trail situation and what's being done to keep trails open.

A lot of the trails 'round these parts are still snowed-over. There's lot's of trials out in the west desert including the Pony Express Trail. American Fork Canyon is a popular area but again, snow limits the riding right now.

welcome. What city are you in? We have some great trails out here. I'll post up when I go wheeling. You're welcome to tag along with me any time I go. most people here are really inclusive and are fine with newcomers. I'm not sure about texas, but we have to guard our trails here and make sure nobody is on them when they're closed, and that they stay on the trail and pick up trash, or we'll lose our few remaining rockcrawling trails.

Here are some trails I recommend:

Rattlesnake
Constrictor
hanging tree trail
Vernal has some fun trails
Delta has some HARCORE trails
Saint George has a big trail system from mild to wild
And of course Moab. tons of fun trails there, but you'll want to wait 'till september before running those trails due to heat
San Raphael swell (between moab and St. George) has lots of cool "expedition/camping" style trails

The following are currently closed, but once they open there will be a ton of people on here going up there:

AF Canyon trails - Forest Lake, Mineral Basin, Mary Ellen Gultch, Major Evans Gultch

Utah is a great place to live if you love the outdoors. Every corner of this state is worth traveling to and getting to know. I've only been living here for 7 years, and I feel like I've only seen about 5% of what there is to offer.

As another new resident, I have to say it's a bit disappointing when someone posts about a trail, but neglects to say where it is, how to find it, if there is any information regarding it, etc.
For example, have you all been on the incomprehensible trail? It's awesome. What, you don't know where that is? Well, maybe someone else will reply that will give a clue. I can't waste another forty characters.

As far as I can tell, you are all REALLY guarding the trails, because I can't figure out where the heck they are. No mention of actual locations. Where is hanging tree? Where is Rattlesnake? Constrictor? GPS coords? GPX file? Man, anything would be an improvement over simply listing the names of trails, because WE ARE NOT FROM HERE. :D We don't have any idea where these places are. I have mentioned this numerous times on this site, and it seems to fall on deaf ears.

If there is a comprehensive listing of trails and locations, nobody is saying.

/rant.

must be the heat getting to me. :greg:
