Looking for vintage 4x4 for film shoot

U4WDA was contacted by a local production company who is looking for a vintage 4x4 vehicle to use in a film shoot.

They are interested in an average to rugged looking vintage 4x4 for a couple scenes in a movie being filmed. The vehicle would be driven by one of the female stars of the show in very limited use. They mentioned to me that it would be driven in a few scenes and never anything more serious than a dirt road.

The vehicle would be fully insured during filming and transportation, and trailered during any long distance travel. They are considering a location in Solitude for the shoot, but might be doing it locally near Salt Lake City.

The tentative dates for needing this vehicle would be 6/27 through 7/17, but that is subject to change. The production company would pay to rent the vehicle, up to $950 for the period.

They mentioned specific interest in an old box Bronco or an older Land Rover, but were open to anything that would fit the bill.

If you are interested in submitting your vehicle for consideration, email me with a recent photo.

How about a 1951 Willys Pick-Up?

Might be TOO vintage, but it doesn't hurt to submit a photo. Please email me a higher resolution pic.

Also, please indicate if the vehicle is standard or automatic. They preferred an auto, but would use a standard if it was the right vehicle.

I don't know. They seemed open to looking at anything, so everything is open to possibility.

Note to everyone:

I've already received several emails like, "Would they be interested in vehicle x?"

The answer to all those questions, is I don't know. They mentioned a box bronco or old land rover, and seemed to like the idea of using a Scout.

My advice is to submit a couple photos along with whether or not it's manual or auto and your name and phone number. I'll send all photos on to them at the end of the week.

If you're willing to go by the parameters I mentioned in the first post, then submit your rig and let them choose if it's what they're interested in.

I'd need some help getting her ready (read: I don't know what I'm doing, and would need help!), but you're welcome to use my '71 800b.

She ran just fine when I left for law school, but no one ran her while I was gone, so she needs help starting (but was stored inside).

Advanced 4 Wheel Drive just did a crossover, and fixed my leaf springs . . . so she's ready to go, just get her running.

It's got a full family roll cage in it, and looks much better without the top, but I don't have a picture sans the top.
Sorry.

Edit: also, it's never been registered in Utah . . .
All it needs to pass inspection (I think) is some electrical work (turn signals and horn), and a better install on the seats (my cage has a brace to mount shoulder belts). I'd like to install the seats to the cage, instead of bolting them to the floor.
