.................good chainsaw and source of said chainsaw.

something with a 16" bar.
I bought a homelite last summer and have used the shirt out of it. Now, not a year later the clutch is out and finding a replacement clutch is not that easy. I would stay away from Homelite. Huskavarna (sp) is supose to be a good one, but you will pay for it.

I was going to suggest Husqvarna, they make some SWEET little saws, which I used when I worked w/the city trimming trees. They ARE pricey though. I never had any trouble with the ones I used.

My dad uses Stihl saws on all their jobs (builds log cabins)... We have had a Stihl Farmboss for 15+ years, never drain the gas... just start it up every season and go with it.

He buys his at Jordan Mower on State & ~70th (East side of road)...

I like this one... 121cc's :D

My dad has had a Stihl for about 10 years and it still runs great. When I worked at Palisade State park we only bought Stihl chainsaws and weed wackers. They always ran great and we put them through a lot of abuse.

heeheh There is a nice handle you can buy for the other end, so the other guy you'll need can hang on and help. Those big ones are pretty damn heavy. I got the end of one with an enormous bar on it, very interesting way to cut big-ass trees.

this thread is making me miss trimming trees, which is strange.
