I'm looking to buy a stock low mileage 2017 JK 2 door with 60K miles. Any input on this year of JK?

Thanks,

My friend has a stock 2008 JKU rubicon with the manual. He loves it but has had quite a few mechanical problems from sensors and I think injectors to the current control board which is making his electrical system freak out. Its almost 10 years old and each fix was not too expensive.

I honestly feel the 2007-2011 JKs are gutless enough to make daily driving them a chore. We daily drove our 2008 and around the neighborhood was fine but any road above a 55mph speedlimit brought the suck. There is just nothing about them that would make me want to buy a pre 2012 JK ever again.

Get yourself a 2012 or newer. The newer motor is worth it.

Here you go, you know you want it.

I have been thinking about an 18 truck version

I daily drove an 08 jku, it isn't that bad. Ours had 35s, 120k miles, and was a 4 door, perfect storm... It was a bit of a dog.... I'd drive it and decide for yourself.

Just so you all know, I bought this jeep. The owner has not had any issues with the oil. The Jeep came with 30" tires and I swapped over to some 33's. It runs great, no it's not a rocket ship, but I'm not complaining about the power. I was pleasantly surprised that it has 4:10 gears. Love the 6 speed. Jeep is in very good condition.
Twice I did experience death wobble, that was my first time ever..... found a bad tie rod and now is all good.

Thanks for all the feed back!
