looking to lease shop space

looking for shop space (preferably in the Holladay/Murray) area anyone know of any available shop space?

What are you using it for? Storage? Auto repair? Do you need alot of outside storage (ie: parking of vehicles, trailers, etc?). What square footage?

I've been looking mostly in the Murray-Sandy area (primarily west of the freeway) off & on lately... there is alot out there, but at a premium compared to further south or west.

Not commercial at all, just three project vehicles and all my parts and tools. Be nice if I had room to park my trailer as well. Just started looking, how are you finding them, website, broker, driving around? What kind of prices you seeing per sq/ft.

My neighborhood has a lot of shops, but I am sick of waiting for a neighbor to die in hopes I can buy their shop.

we used to have a small shop at about 4800 S. 300 W. Just west of the tracks, it was about the size of a 3 car garage, had heat and water. It was a pretty cool little place as long as you didn't need outside parking.

There are quite a few shops between 45th and 48 th south and 160 west. Some friends and businesses we use are there

Rental rates

Square footage would depend on what you want to do, but a typical 2 bay auto shop with a small office is around 1,800 sf to 2,200sf. Right now rental rates for such space are anywhere from $9.00 psf to $16.00 psf.

No those rates are per year. So divide that by twelve. So its $1,650.00 per month to $2933.33 per month. Sorry should have mentioned that.
