Low cost steel vendor?

I am going to need to purchase some small amounts of steel in the near future and was wondering where you guys have found the best prices/service? Looking for 3/8" and 1/2" plate in very small quantities.

they are both in the phone book.

FYI. the less you buy the more it cost(usually).
