Machinists: help me identify this Aluminum! :)

Here's an interesting puzzle. Help me identify this piece of aluminum plate.

12.25"x12.25"x2.75"

Stamped on one side is "QTL"
"R" circled

and "18" in a Hexagon

then one face is stamped
"FBCN"

All the faces seem perfectly flat. Almost like it was used as a rule to measure other things.

I don't have any certs. Perhaps it's worth something to a hobby machinist.

at $0.64/lb scrap, a 12.25x12.25x2.75 piece of aluminum is 40.44lbs, and worth about $25, i'd figure a hunk that big to be worth more than that weird
