38" Super Swamper TSL/SX on stock H1 wheels with PVC beadlocks

Unfortunately no Sand Hollow with this rear suspension. I need some upper arm tube, rod ends, 2 more Summit 1.25 ends, a truss and a different 14 bolt (disc brakes) with 5.13 gears and regear the front to match. Install new 350. THEN it's ready for Sand Hollow.

Likely for 2025? Sand Hollow and I are not good friends in this Jeep. I've killed at least 2 D300 down there. Flopped once (maybe twice?). Had an epic trail repair with you a few years ago.

I'm a little gun shy.

I think you’ll be much happier with your Jeep thing once you get that rear axle controlled. I can’t remember if you have a front limit strap or not, but I definitely recommend that or a suck-down winch option on the front axle. I saw a ton of people at Trail Hero who could have greatly benefited from an option like that. I use mine often in Sand Hollow.

Had maybe an hour on the "trail". Rode out from McDonald's turn off in Moab to Kane Creek road turn off to Kane Creek trail. Could not get the coolant temps under control and aborted the Chicken Corners run.

Had some friends ping us they were coing through town and we were conveniently back to town. We met up at the Diner and had lunch.

Headed home after that.


Cooling issue thoughts:

Taurus fan bit the dust?

Things that will be replaced with new engine:
-Water pump is relatively new (not that that means anything)
-thermostat

Definitely possible. I'm thinking it's the Taurus fan electric motor. It didn't turn on when I started the Jeep this evening. Fired up on high. Just not on low. That's fir sure a factor but if that was the only thing wrong, I could have nursed the Jeep along the trail with high speed. High speed wasn't cooling anything down
