Thinking about getting a set for my truck but have never owned a bias ply tire. My commute is only 6 miles and I do have another truck for long trips. I will NOT be trailering it and wanted to know from those of you that actually have this tire, what you think of it on and off road. The other tire I was looking at was the MTR, which I had back east.

37/12.5/15

Thanks

They are excellent tires off road, but I can't help you with the on-road part. I've never had them on a street-legal machine.

I asked about that a while back, general answer was: "they wear fairly quickly".

I wish BFG a/t's came in a big size like that. :(

I buy my tires, so I can say it how it is..... ;)

Does Maxis even make a 37X15? I thought you had to step up to the 16's to get the 37's.

As far as I know, you can only get 37's in 16" or 17" rim, but they do offer the 38 in a 15".

I do believe that the Creepy Crawler will be on the Blazer, unless I score a set of really cheap BFG Krawlers in 39" flavor. Have not been impressed with Swamper anythings, MTR's wear out too fast, and my preferred BFG A/T is too small. So what's left that has decent road manners and is big enough? Not much.

I'll be buying mine too, and will report when the time comes, how they last. .... pricey bastids! but oh well.
