look what i can do!!
Stroke was (most likely) not fight related! The doc said the I was in much better shape than most guys my age and that is was more likely the birth defect in my heart that caused it. I had a PFO, a hole between the chambers of my heart that can cause clots. Now it is fixed, doc's cleared me and i'm ready to bang it out again in the cage! it will be a long road back into the condition I was in but its coming along one bruise at a time!

I feel ya there! The clots usually develop in your legs and go to your lungs, heart or brain... Mine picked lungs and boy was it lousy but strokes can be a lot worse. They say people have a hereditary predisposition to clotting but who knows? Glad you're doing better

I remember taking Gillen to watch you fight in SLC a couple of years ago and a few times on TV. I was pretty impressed and I bet you would do well on the Ultimate Fighter. Fighters in your weight class move so fast it boggles my mind!

I talked to Olly yesterday after the tryouts, they cut him based on lack of recent fight history. He has an invite back once he gets some fights back under his belt.

So, start training focker! :D

I'll be looking for a fight in the next month or so.. I do have some things to work on before i fight again..
