Sounds like it's worth a walk to see. Pretty much any day in the trees is worth the effort to me. I have to recon some craggy stuff nearby anyhow.

Bump for an old thread. Anyone been up to the top of the old road in White Pine Canyon? Know anything about the 'mines' up there? How far does the road go?

I've spent a little time up there. This is the only GPS track I can find on this computer. I can't tell you anything about the mines, you already know more about them than I ever will

Spot on, I verified with google earth and that matched the mine we found just shy of our stop. Gonna have to get a Rokon to try it again

oh, the Christini would be waaaay better. Rokons are rad but suuuper slow.

I might head up there this weekend for a shuttled mt. bike run. It's about that time I think.
