Military Trailers - Highway Worthy?

I've been looking for a good heavy duty trailer for hauling water, firewood, etc. up to my recreation property on the weekends. I have seen a few military trailers that are really heavy duty that look like they would work great, but I'm not sure how they would handle being towed at freeway speeds. Anyone have any experience with these? Are the bias ply military tires the downfall?

I pulled one from Forest Lake to Tibble Fork, it was awesome for that. Scoutabout said it pulled very well on the highway.

Yeah, we borrowd Andre's mil trailer for the Forest Lake project last year. It was great on the freeway. If it's well maintained, I think it'll be good.

The tires are supposed to be the downfall, but I tugged a whole truck frame with NDT's across the country at 75mph w/zero issues. They barely got warm, in fact.

from my military past I remember that some of the trailers are equipped with air brakes... depending on the size of the trailer you wouldn't have any braking on it unless you had air brakes to match it... that would be the only trouble I would see...

We use to haul everything and anything in our trailers and never had a problem unless someone left the ebrake on....
