Took the buggy and the wife out to BFE today to hit a few trails. We did Upper helldarado last week, so we just hit the gate keeper and then up Minor threat.

Minor threat is fairly easy, so didn't get many pictures of that. Then on to Greenday. One of my favorite trails at BFE. Just hard enough to have a great time with no real risk of serious damage.

Then we headed back down to coyote canyon. I have been wanting to run this trail for quite some time, but just have never had the chance.

I am glad that I never attempted it in the toyota. This is trail is HARD. Way more difficult IMO than upperhellarado and about the same as Judgement Day on Price, only 5 times longer.

It took us (just us in the buggy) about 30 minutes to run this trail, but in a group any larger than 3 this would take all day.

Very cool Dan, looks like you're making up for all the build time with all the wheelin you're packing in. Glad too hear the buggy is working so well for you.

I agree with Bart - good job on the buggy! You've done some serious wheelin' and either it's holding up or your not posting the carnage pics ;)

Coyote was a blast; I really had no business being on it in a full fendered rig, that I care about sheet metal about ;) But I left the doors and top in camp and went for it! .... I'd do it again!! :D

I did have some carnage the second day I was here. This is my shakedown run afterall. ;)
The external fuel pump is mounted to the chasis kinda behind the passanger seat. We were just crusing along after the pickle and the buggy just died.... Like it was getting no fuel. Got to looking and the pass side shoulder harness that was just flopping around had hit and arced the + terminal of the fuel pump. I thought that this had killed the fuel pump, but I put 12 volts to it and it came on like normal. Then I was worried because the computer controls the pump and as far as I knew at that point there was no fuse between the pump and the computer. I came to the conclusion that I had fried the computer. Got it back to the trailer and back to town to start looking for a new computer...... Long story short... it was a fuse that I did not realize was there.:ugh:
But so far aside from the fuse issue and bad seals on the 60, we have had no problems.
For this trip I have run (in order)
Hells Revenge
The Pickle
Upper Helldarado
Pritchett Canyon (towed out xj)
Minor threat
Greenday
Coyote canyon.
Tomorrow I would like to run Golden spike, if I can just figure out the buggy trailer thing.:-\

Awesome Dan! If you're still around give me a call and we can get together.

Today is my last day and then I am heading to Price tonight to settle a score with judgement day.
I think that we are planning... on running Pritchett again today, except turning around and coming back at yellow hill.
