I ran the 8k for a long time, it did run well, but was the slowest MF I have ever seen.

I have a ramsey 12,000 on my expedition and I know its the slowest (7 ft per min) but it has pulled a few tractor trailers out of snow banks and many a full size pickup and suv out of the ditch (never had to pull myself out yet).

You know if warn is such a great winch why do all the tow trucks have ramseys?

i have a mm 8000.... its slow but who cares, as long as your getting out of your jam, what the heck?? plus its hard to beat the price

i have lifted my cruiser's front end off the ground with my MM and no problems, i have also towed a truck with 4 flat tires onto my trailer...... i havent had to use the winch really hard yet, but it seems to be ok......

think about it, will you honestly use your winch EVERY time you go wheeling??

you can buy a warn for i think around 750-900 for a good 8000'er
i bought my MM for 425

so for 800 bucks, i bought the winch, a rope, a snatch block and if your a good shopper a hi-lift jack..... i would rather have all that than a blingin' warn..... dont get me wrong i cant afford a warn so the MM makes more sense
