A few of us went to Moab last weekend and had a great time. Here are a few pics, starting with Green Day:

The weather was great, a little on the hot side, but still okay. Saturday it was a little overcast and probably 80 degrees or so. It will be cooler this weekend!

I agree, but.....there is nothing that will replace that wonderful puckery feeling of dropping down the ledge with a 400 foot drop right next to you!!

It's just different now.

I've always heard about that and I think that was one of the reasons I've never been So that drop isn't there anymore?

No. When they were doing some work on the pipeline a few years ago up there they removed it. The only way to access the pipeline was by Cliffhanger, so they came in and filled a lot of places only with dirt, but some areas they had to get a little more serious. I know they tried to avoid changing the trail, but when you have to get a big ole' work truck up there...:-\
I'm just glad I got to run the trail a few times in it's original form.

OOOOOO I've been on Cliffhanger! Notajeep took me up there during the winter convention! That's a great view!
