Moab 2/3 - Pritchett

Jim and the rest of Moab Friends-For-Wheelin' have spent many hours working with the BLM on Pritchett over the last 2 years. While both the Rocker Knocker and Yellow Hill bypasses are technically within WSA boundaries, the BLM is currently allowing them because they feel that each is a safer alternative to the current original routes. The Yellow Hill bypass cannot physically be anywhere else. However, in the case of the Rocker Knocker bypass, we recently installed some fencing in order to attempt to discourage any more new routes beyond the current bypass.

That's exactly how I understood it... And another reason the anchor points were installed...? To keep the travel/impact to a minimum..?

Pritchett has always been, and probably always will be my favorit trail down there.... Views, etc make it great!

Whoa, where'd this come from????-_- -_- Just because it took me two hours to get up there so we could go find someone to winch Ross's 'Charger out. That, and I was afraid of sidehill stuff back then......now I just roll through it.

so how come you'll never do that trail? I've tried to get you to do it how many times? You need to refill your midol prescription.

Yes, the vertical wall is the actual Rock Pile, and yes we took the by-pass. Axle hill (I believe it's called) was about the toughest (mandatory) with all the snow/ice (see second link, first post). Meat pulled several over it. The buggy at the bottom, seen in several of the pictures, busted his driver front lower link on it.

p.s. sucks to be back to work ... fantastic trip ... and the "infamous" meat is ok, no matter what you guys say.

Now, badger, I hear is a mangina ... had a chance to go and girlied out

go figure?

This part about meat being ok, I just dont know. I think he is kind of a dirt bag  . I mean he only pull rigs up half the obsticals, and then there was the part of driving me all over BFE as if to say ha ha my(meat's)truck runs and yours(great scott's) is still in the shop. Yep I think he is a dirt bag :greg: . Thanks meat. Over all this was a great day, with good rigs, drivers, and weather.

Because me Jeep would have a rough time doing it being open on both ends ;)

A good friend of mine is a large animal vet. He drags me along from time to time to preg-check a herd. I typically get the can of paint and paint an “O” on the ones he determines are “Open” … I’ll spare you the details of how this is determined.

Anyway, seems open is bad for cows and rigs!

Just thought I’d share ;)

Well at BFE I saw you shed a tear over not being able to continue your big vs. small rivalry with Dixon... so I helped in the only way I knew how.

So then you are admitting to be intimidated by the trail due to previous experiences.

Man, I love being right all the time. I need to find more hippy friends to argue with :greg:
