Moab 4/15-4/18

[Mope]

We had a little family get together in Moab a couple weeks ago. Seeing how none of us had been there, we decided it was about time to make the trip. My inlaws came from Phoenix (Rubicon JK), and my brother drove his stock red YJ down, and my brother in law drove his slightly modded yellow YJ down. I trailered the zuk, cause I'm a wuss and didn't want to drive it! :drive:

We drove Fins and things, Hells revenge, Steel bender, Gold Bar, strike ravine, and played around at BFE a little.
The 4 door JK suffered an t-case explosion 2 hours into it's trip on the way home. I suffered a broken clutch cable, and the red YJ crunched his tail pipe, and made good use of the hitch. The yellow YJ blew a rear u-joint 30 min from home on the return trip. Other than that, no carnage and it was great.
I must say I love the slick rock, and can't wait to go down again!!

Thanks.... I had just finished the suspension on it, and it was the first real run. It surprisingly amazed at how well it did.

We couldn't believe how good that mirror held up. It was fun to watch them!
