Also, the sites are limited to 3 vehicles and 9 people so you need to plan for that. Planning Pastafari 2011 with 9 vehicles in the maze was challenging due to this limitation.

in island in the sky it's 3 vehicles and 15 people, but yeah, same principle. Hole in the Rock is looking a lot more tempting. how is route-finding on that trail? Is it tough to find?

I have that weekend off, I'm interested. I'm a rank newb when it comes to real offroad though, so if you all get too crazy I might have to just hitch a ride.

When do you need to know for sure, Steve?

Cool, we'd love to have you Kevin. What do you drive? Is it modified at all?

I need to know attendance by Oct 5th so I can make sure we reserve enough campsites.

Hopefully we can tag along for a ride with the Moab Friends for Wheeling that Saturday. Maybe we could even talk them into HITR. What do you say Susan and Jeff?

Steve, sounds like fun. We will be providing aid stations for a 100-mile trail marathon on October 8th.

1986 4Runner, lifted a touch is all. It's got these really retarded rims I got off some guy in American Fork... ;)

Ah kevin, I remember now. Soft top silver 4runner, with the coils above the rear leafs. Hope you can tag along, it'll be a fun time. Your truck can definitely handle the trails we'll be doing, you'll just want some sliders if you don't have any.

I would like to do Hitr a different time. My whole family is now coming down to moab to ride pedal bikes, and stay in a hotel. I m still going to wheel and camp. Hitr just seems like its own trip.

k, that works for me. I'd love to find a trail we could do an overnighter on, but maybe we'll have to save that for another trip.

Is anyone else interested in an overnighter on a trail, or am I the only one? I was thinking sunday afternoon/evening camping out on the trail, and finishing up Monday to come home monday afternoon. But I only want to do the camping trail if you guys do.

What about hurrah pass? Or some trails up in the La Sal Mt range? There's also a camping spot at Base Camp up by the wind caves and the disc golf course. It might even be fun to camp at a different spot each night. I'm pretty flexible to whatever the group wants.
