Well we went down to Moab last week for 4 days of wheeling and hiking. The weather was great, and the trails were even better. In three days of wheeling and one day of hiking we only saw one motorcycle rider, one jogger, and two hikers on the trails. On Wednesday afternoon we did Top of the World since this was the maiden voyage for my Scrambler I thought we should start with a 3 rated trail and work our way up. The trail was more challenging than it normally is because the top half of the trail had 4-5" of snow on it. Snow definitely changes the nature of "slick rock". The view from the top is always worth the drive. The next day we did Fins and Things and tried to connect over to Porcupine Rim but ran out of daylight before we got to Porcupine. The next day we did Steel Bender which was a lot of fun. The last day was spent hiking to some arches. Our three jeeps made it through all of the wheeling without any breakdowns or damage. I came to love my new e-lockers and found out why scramblers are called "tail draggers". Here are a few pictures of our trip.
