I was out there too. I got a sweet shot in the golden crack with water running through it.
yeah you would think that the wet sand would turn into quick sand but it actually seems to compact and give really good traction. that pond on hells revenge was deep but i didn't slip a tire at all

oh yeah look at the pic of the broken d60 shaft! (fell in a hole on a sand hill way south of moab)
