Moab last weekend

We went down last weekend with our kids and my brother. We did the Pickle and Moab Rim on Friday and Saturday we did some more mellow scenic rides. We did part of Gold Bar then connected to Little canyon. From There we tied in to the Dry Fork of Bull Canyon and explored a new area for us. We did some hiking farther up Dry Canyon. The only mechanical problems we had were a blown power steering hose on Moab Rim and a dead alternator on the way home in my son in laws Jeep. Having an alternator die in the middle of the Utah Valley I15 construction was worse than Moab Rim. Luckily the jeep died close to an off ramp and they coasted off the freeway. We were able to re-charge the battery enough so they could make it home. It would have been bad to try and get him off the freeway where there wasn't any shoulder to pull off. Here are some pictures of our adventures.

The first five pictures are the pickle, the next five are Moab rim.

A few from Saturday. The first four are Little Canyon, the next two are from/back to Bullday bridge. And the last ones are Dry Fork.

Thanks for the pics, I have to live vicariously through your report.

Was that first trail in the canyon the pickle? Whatever it was, I have to make a point to do that trail next time I'm down there.

No, the pickle is off of Barlett Wash... Little canyon is a trail that connect you from Gold Bar to Bull Canyon. Either one is great...It Moab, Right :D

Oops, I didn't realize "little canyon" was a trail. I meant to ask, where are the first 5 pictures from? I'd love to do that spot next time I'm down there.

the first five pics are the pickle, very short trail but has 3 or so technical climbs that are very fun to go up and will make you pucker coming back down it.

very very fun trail thought.
