THE PUNISHER
Moab May 12,13
May 12 ran Rusty Nail with about 9 rigs on it. Was a wild time. Started about 10am. ended 1a.m. (yes, it's true)
Damage Report, one complete rollover on Double Whammy (Big Birds Rig) good cage but busted a motor mount and a side mirror. Restarted and kept going.

May 13 did Hells Revenge, good time. Short day, back in camp early.
Damage Report - Motor Heads Son's Ford Explorer II flopped coming out of the trail. It ran a little rough but made it home, sorry no pics maybe Jim ( Motor Head) has some.

A good time ran with some of jp008's family and friends. Jim Phillips is a good trail leader and spotter.
Ran into Muleskinner's friends - Bronco's and Toyota (Joel) Sunday going up Pritchett.

Thanks Bob. we had a good time and I look forward to wheelin' with you again. Hopefully I will have my rig out next time. Here are some of our pics. Since my rig is down for awhile I decided to take the Jeep (Orange) I made Hell's Gate look easy. :p

Hey you guys were at the canyonlands campground. The "stolen engineering" stickers look familiar, I knew I should have been more social and said hello.

You should have. It would have been good to meet you. bb88 and scrit89 were by the showers and we were camped across from Bob-cat in the condo-in-a-bag. :D

Well if bb88 and scrit89 complained about the crying kids that kept them up all night I may know whos kids they were :D

We were jsut across from them in tents. Who was the guy who brought the remote controlled crawlers, one that I think was made from scratch and very flexy.

We all had a great time and enjoyed sharing the trails with you all on Friday & Saturday. Here are some pics of my son's first time out driving his own rig. I have to admit, I was impressed with his instant ability to make it through all the tough obsatcles (most without any help). But his luck ran out on the very last obsatcle of the very last run (leaving Hell's Revenge) when he dumped it on the right side after failing to notice the 3ft drop-off his right front tire fell into. He was quite surprised. Now he's a real veteran. Just had to winch him back onto his wheels, clean the oil out of the intake & MAP sensor, burn the oil off the plugs:D and he was good to go again.
