We went down to Moab for a little "fun in the sun".
Friday afternoon we did a solo run to Top Of The World. The trail seemed kind of long and bumpy, but well worth it for the view at the end .
Saturday morning we headed out to Fins & Things with two rigs. This is a great trail in my book, a little bit of everything to play around on.
Saturday afternoon we headed out to Steel Bender with the same two rigs. We ran it from the North to the South. We were watching some dirtbikers at the first big ledge (waypoint 6 in the 4x4 book I believe) and trying to decide if we really wanted to drop off and continue the trail, not fully knowing what was ahead. While we were watching, three other Wranglers came along and after talking to them for awhile they invited us to finish the trail with them. Thanks again to you guys upstate for letting us tag along. This trail was tons of fun and probably the highlight of our trip! I even got a picture of a cool lizard along the way.
Sunday we decided to head out and try Hey Joe Canyon trail. The trail proved to be rather hot and dusty, but it was still a lot of fun. We had to manicure a few bushes along the way that were trying to take over the trail, but we made it through with minimal pinstriping. The scenery and the mine at the end of the trail made it all worth while though.
Overall we had a great time and I can't wait to get back down there again!
