Moab May 2017

[RockChucker]

Hauled down to Moab Wednesday to Saturday this last week. Fantastic weather and lots of laughs and fun. Our family group has grown as younger peeps have collected jeeps. We had 11 TJs in our group this trip and we were missing some people.

We ended up running Moab Rim Wednesday afternoon.





Hells Revenge was on Thursday.

Steel Bender Friday.




The Pickle, Mashed potato and Tusher tunnel Saturday before heading back home.



Fun trip. Only a few problems. My uncle's Teralow ate itself on Steel Bender. That was his 2nd one to self destruct if I remember right. He'll be looking to upgrade to either a Rubicon case or an Atlas. And my pops tossed his jeep over. It got tired running the sandy wash at speed and decided to lay down for a dirt nap. He took a weird bounce into another bounce into a sandy embankment that tipped him over on the driver side. Dented the windshield frame a little. Other than that, no injuries or damage to the jeep.

I think it would have crawled it if it wasn't wet. I thought about going into the big one, but there was probably a foot of super nasty water in the bottom. Bag the chance of rolling into it....I didn't want to flip that all over me I have also heard the big tub and the smaller one by it are closed for travel and on private property...

And yep. Had to try Tip Over Challenge in two wheel peel. :greg:
