That's assuming that I remember the way  I've been to Rusty Nail one time, and I was geeking at the scenery the entire time :ugh:

Turn right at this sign....

Assuming that my steering comes in on time and I get my sway bar links welded in and the Jeep aligned, I will be getting in Friday evening. I am staying through June 2nd though. This will my Dads first run out in his new XJ built from the ground up and my first run on the new front axle with ZERO testing, so we will be taking it easy the first couple days, so I doubt I will make Rusty Nail on Saturday.

Are any of you guys gonna be meeting up in town in the mornings in case trail plans change? We are planning on running some easy runs like:

Hells Revenge
Cliff Hanger
Poison Spider
Gold Bar Rim
Metal Masher
Flat Iron Mesa
Pickle

I'll have the two little munchkins with me, so I'll be lucky to get outta there by noon everyday.

Oh, we're in spot 26 at Slickrock (same old place). Mike just got his black TJ out of the body shop after a major re-do. Say's he might need a spotter...... ;)

Moab is for wheeling, not sleeping.... 9am it is............

Looks like we'll be able to make this trip too. We will probably leave early on Saturday and meet at the parking lot at whatever time. 10:00 or 10:30 sounds good. We'll have a one-year-old in a car seat in the buggy. It'll be his first time in the buggy. He's been working on it a lot lately though. :greg:

-_- Excellent point, so let's go out on a night run Friday after we get in and then we'll all need to sleep in a bit. And then 10:00 will work just perfectly won't it? :D

We really want to head down there but, I cant find a hotel in Moab, Any suggestions?

Marcus
I had a heck of a time finding a room back in March, but I know a surprising amount of people cancel right before their arrival. So as much of a pain as it is, calling the main hotels every day might be your only option at this point.

Will 10:00 give you enough time to get into town? It will be great to have another peanut along, normally it's just Caulen kickin' it with his daddy Zog!

We'd have to leave about 6. That should be doable.

 Is your wife down with that? That's like before the butt crack of dawn in my book. Rest assured, I don't mind moving the meeting time to 10:30. I like to sleep in. :)

Don't change it on my account, but the later the better. ;)

BTW, the buttcrack of dawn is more like 5.

Let's make it easy and say 10:00. It's a nice number and by the time everyone gets there, unloads, and introduces themselves it will most likely be 10:30 when we will actually be driving to the trail. Sound good?

I guess if we speed on the way down, then haul ass on the dirt road we can make that.
