This is our semi-annual 4wheeling trip. We're not a club, just some guys that like to get out and do the harder core trails. TIMELINE:
12May: Arrive moab-family means wife/kids and easier? trails like Kane Creek
13May: Fri- family trails in moab 14May: Sat- family trails in moab
15May: Sun- families depart
16-17May: Mon- trails in Moab like Pritchett, behind the rocks, area BFE
18May: Wed- check out from moab, travel to Grand Junction and run billings canyon 19May: Thurs- run 21 road at Grand Junction
20-21May: Fri- run trails in Montrose CO
22May: Sun- departure day but 2 of the crew may stay and run more trails.
So the reason i post this is if someone wants to join us, they can. We're the types that would never leave someone behind or ask them to do what they are not capable of but we're out to run hard stuff.
We do want someone to lead us on the hard Montrose trails since it's been years since we've been there. Any guides out there? Any locals that can join us on 21 road and billings? In the past i've really enjoyed meeting the local 'pros' on those trails.
In the past we've been joined by guys from East coast to Idaho. This year Matt will join us from South Dakota. We don't mind meeting new folks.
happy wheeling!
