the reason hells gate and esculator were closed is not from the people climing them or the black marks on the rocks it was because of the bull sh*t dumb ass punk kids that go there to party and trash the goddamb ground it is people like that that are going to ruin it for every one else

you know most of these people moab can do with out they cost the town more problems than they are worth this has already effected ejs in ways most people do not know about the club has thoughts of changing the dates to offset the spring brake crud and it is sad to me that an event with such a history can be changed by some thing that we as wheeler have control of and dont do a damb thing about!


you know if you are out and have a dam beer dont throw the can or bottle under the closest tree use a fawkin trash can or the vehicle that brought you there i am so sick of seeing trash out on the trails if you do that sh*t in front of me you can bet your ass you are going to here about it from me !

you know pack it in pack it out does takes alot more than buying a stupid bumber sticker

To start with maybe look at the trail rating if you are on a 3+ trail and you see a 5+ route, maybe it is off the trail. I have used that trail for 15 years and In the last five or so years the alternate routes have really affected the trail. The damage is real.

I think the worst offenders are the ATV's and dirt bikes. When I am down in Moab I am constantly yelling at them for driving where they should not be.

That particular route didn't start getting regular use until the other areas were painted with the no route markings. Once in a while I would see tracks going up there but usually not. If you take responsibility for your self & read the information posted at the trailhead it is very clear what is and what isn't acceptable.

I'm sure by the end of this week it will be heavily tracked & more spray paint will have to be used to make another ugly spot on the trail to get the message across. It's really sad that it's necessary to do such an ugly thing to get people to stay on the trail.
