Mineral basin didn't really challenge my rig, so I want to do something a bit harder. Maybe you can start another thread so we don't hijack the moab thread.

If I get a few things done (sliders, carb adjust, and a few other things), then I'm down for lil moab or snakes or af canyon (I'd rather do snakes or lil moab, AF Canyon is cool, but I'm a bit bored of it.

Take lots of pics Dan, i wish I could join you guys this time, that would have been a blast. I'll have my 5.29s by SWCF for sure.

We will be down there the 14th - 19th. Will probably be just my truck unless my brother's Jeep gets fixed then it will be just his Jeep since I'm going to have to borrow his trailer.

Is this still the plan?

Anyone still planning on going? I'll be there 16th and 17th I'd like to tag along with some people if I can

We have 2 trips going to Moab, one around Thanksgiving (the Moab Turkey Takeover) when we will be wheeling Nov 23-28. and are also planning another winter trip sometime in Dec-Jan. Keep in touch.

I like to set up more like 5 days or more of wheeling every time I go to Moab to make it worth the drive from AZ... Anyone going to extend this trip longer than the 16th-17th? Still on the fence about going for both events -- this one, and then again for the big Nov. event.

Where are you guys planning to set up camp for this? Or do you guys rent rooms when you go. Thanks,

~John

We are probably heading back on the 18th now. We are renting a house since it is cheaper then getting 2 or 3 rooms and I hate camping especially in the desert where you get sand in everything :D
We are also biking and some are climbing a couple of the days.

Thanks for the heads-up. I'll most likely pass on this one then and just attend the longer events with more days of wheeling planned. Thanks again, and happy trails!

We're heading down in a few hours so will be wheeling Thursday thru Sunday morning. We're open to whatever runs from Golden Spike to easy stuff and don't have a group to hang with. Give us a call at 801 - 920 - three zero four four. Hope to see somebody there!
