I don't think I want to be a passenger when you are driving.... :ugh:

Thats over a span of the last 10yrs or so. The TJ's were just oops', one landed on the p side door, really slow, no damage. Another was a tri pod affect using my spare tire as a kick stand. The BII had to do with freeways in WY with black ice....

I'm not pissed, but was very concerned about the image that a statement like that presents to others. Like I tell people all the time, anyone can read these forums & our enemies have proven several times in the past that they do. So when a statement like that appears it doesn't look good for us as a group because it looks like you knew you'd done something unacceptable.

I posted it because I'm sick of trying to defend myself.

I never try to go on anything thats illegal, and try to follow every rule. Then someone tells me this is bad and that was too, and it goes on for days with a three page thread complaining about me!

I think the issue is being Proactive....Find out as much as you can before you go. If you are unsure of the legality of something/place, then don't go until you find out.

Honestly I did think I do that. Hence the reason I asked the rangers about hells gate, and dump bump before I played on them.

I have seen many respectable members (IMO) going on both of these bypasses that I have been flamed about, I am sure they didn't know that it was an issue to go on them as well!

I try to steer away from things that look or seem questionable. But whatever, no one seems to follow my point.

The damage doesn't look to bad from the picture. I am gonna have to cruise over there and check it out in person.
It was a good roll that caught us all by surprise! pics don't do any justice but for the record, Brian wheeled it out under its own power then successfully drove it back to O-town the next day! We should've just kocked the windshield out and wheeled it the next day, called insurance for a total and rented a truck and trailer for the trip home! Either way, it was an awesome day and trip. BadCop,

Who's CJ7 is that, that kinda aqua colored one. I like the color, any idea what the paint color is?
Hey Shawn,
thought I'd clarify the color fer ya. It is a faded baby blue accented with natural scrub oak pin-stripping. The way I look at it, as long as everything under the paint runs good, why paint it! Unless, you talk to my wife, she thinks I need to paint it. I just tell her that when I am done building the jeep I will paint it. Untill then, it stays baby blue. KENNETH !!

I think I know why it took soo long for my sheeiit to come in at FTM but who cares, it all came together good. Betty II runs like a champ!
