modding an original xbox?

Does anyone know anything about modding original xboxes? I don't even know where to begin looking. Which chips are the good ones? I never plan on playing xbox live so I'm not worried about having a switch. I would like to upgrade the hard drive and be able to store games on it, nothing too fancy. Any help would be great, even just a link to a website that has a tutorial or something, anything to get me started. Thanks.

No, THIS is the one I have, but I didn't do it myself, my brother in law did all the mods for me. So I'm not much help on the install side, but there are tutorials on the site if you want to tackle it yourself.
