Mongol Rally?

Happened to stumble upon the Mongol Rally- a race across Europe and Asia limited to older vehicles with 1000cc engines- while following the Mongol Derby (http://www.theadventurists.com/mongol-derby ) horse race (1000KM across Mongolia on semi-wild horses) that a friend of mine is competing in as we speak.

Sounds like a crazy adventure!
