Ok so I mentioned in my intro post I traded my 11 sec street car for a 89 runner. Here is what I know about it: 37x13.50/15 tires steel rims, 5.29 gears, SAS front with unknown locker with manual hubs, unknown springs x over steering, steering gear box has custom bracket and not sure if its the stock box. Rear axle I belive is stock to the truck with manual E-locker with no cable, rear shock mounts been movedand shocks angled, I think the rear springs are 63" chevy springs. has the 4.71 crawler t case rock sliders custom front bumper and "MC" rear bumper, skid plate to cover rear locker mechanism, silicone radiator hoses. If any one has built this rig or know who did and can get me some more info on this I would be greatly appreciated. My plans for it at the moment is to put limiting straps on the front (help for road ability) ive got to go through and re wield the sliders to the frame re wield spring mounts on the frame re wield shock mounts re wield front bumper and put spacers behind the front bumper to have room to mount a winch. build a cage and new 37 inch tires and have fun with it and when I got the truck also got another 22r with the propane conversion on it. I want to put that on it as well. Get a header and open the exhaust up. swap spots with the batt. and air box run a cold air intake bigger throttle body a cam and see about a lightend fly wheel alum radiator with a slim fan and delete the fan on the motor. (flywheel and fan mods to reduce drag on the motor) put an onboard air comp and a 70 amp stick wielder for trail fixes. possably thinking on a little bigger injectors and fuel pump as well. enough chit chat on to the pics.
