Hi Sarah,





Having read the article about the mines in Utah, I wish to pleasantly tell you that I disagree with most of the thing you wrote. Thousands upon thousands venture into mines every year and come out with nothing but a sense of awe and reverence for those hardy people that worked those mines. Having just spent the last weekend doing so and coming back unharmed, I was a little offended that your writing was focus entirely on the "what If's" of the subject rather than on the many other positive facets available to you. Yes, Mine exploration is dangerous, and one should use caution and smarts when searching around these amazing pieces of history. But many things are dangerous. driving on the highway, smoking, rappelling, climbing, are just a few ways to get injured. But that is part of the human experience, exploring our world!!!



In the future please leave personal feelings and propaganda out of your writing!! and spend some time exploring your amazing state!!!
