So yes I know its just a subi that is probably just gutless, but still its cool. Id say the tires were at least 31 and maybe he exchanged the gerbil cage under the hood.
More details please if anyone knows of them.

I have no technical data to add, but I've seen a few of that model online, lifted. I was looking at one in CO, but no one responded to the ad they had placed. :(

I believe it said Honda on the windshield. (with the subaru badges on the front).

In about 1973 there was a guy that raced a 1971 Subaru wagon at the Riverside Raceway in California. I asked him why and he said he had always wanted to race off road and didn't have any money so he raced what he had. He also said his kids got a kick out of it and when the big pick ups Class 3 etc. came up on him he just got out of the way. He would usually finish and get lapped a few times.
