Most common bolt action round

What is the or one of the most common bolt action rounds produced?

From what I have understood/researched, its between the 30.30 and 30-06

No real reason for the question, just curious. I am not planning on taking up hunting. However, that would be a small consideration for my question.

I would say 30-06, it's been around a long time and has been pretty much un-changed since it's inception.

30-30 is usually a lever action round, 308, 270, 243 are all pretty common also.

Because of combined military and civilian use, I would guess 30-06, then 308

The most common is the .22 but if you mean larger caliber it has to be the 30-06 because of the millions of rounds produced durring WW1 & 2 + the latter ones.

A "bolt-action" round will also work in a "simi, lever, or single action" rifle....
