My next toy is going to be one of those KLR650s...I have been drooling over those for a few years now and they just remind me of my old XT550 I had for years and years.

Those supermoto bikes look fun as hell too...arghhh....too fun!!

I'm leaning right now towards the yamaha fz6 or the suzuki SV650.

Just trying to decide how bad of a decision it is to buy a bike right now :D

here is something interesting. My insurance says the Suzuki sv650 is not a sport bike but the Yamaha fz6 is....go figure.

If those were my choices I would FOR SURE go for the SV. You will have worlds of fun on it and it won't cost you as much :freak:

Hey Cody, I just talked to my Dad (he was riding in Moab all weekend:mad: ) His favorite motorcycle BB is Cycleforums.com. They cover all types of bikes and riding, and they are usually very helpful. My Dad is "gasman", just in case you want to know.

Ohh... something else to consider... a Supermoto DRZ! In the last year or 2 Suzuki has started producing a factory built Supermoto bike based on the DRZ400. Apparently they are a BLAST to ride and the ultimate hoodlum bike. No room for passengers, built for tearin' up the road and riding hard.

BULLPUCKEY!!!:hickey:

I vote for the DRZ like Greg's. The KLR if you want a chic on the back.

Hey Cody, I rode a Suzuki boulevard the other day and I was way impressed. Shaft drive, fuel injected and I think a 650cc. My Brother-in-law bought it new for about $6k.

Shaft drive...icky. Belt drive is where it's at, chain is OK...but if you can help it run away from the shaft drive. I just buttoned up and test drove my bike after doing a double clutch diaphram mod and DAMN my bike launches like a rocket now, it's hard to hang onto!! If I'm not careful it just spins the tire off the line but when it hooks...look out! I love my 113 fuel injected cubic inches!
