I have a GT in the shop for some work and it has written on the top tube "welded carbon fiber" It's a decal under the clear coat! I'm unsure just how Carbon fiber is welded???

When I was helping test the old suckass STS carbon fiber ones, they told us it was the process they were using to join the ends of the tube-- basically plastic welding, gussied up w/fancy names LOL
Those bikes weren't actually too bad, just that nearly all first-gen, cutting-edge tech doesn't work out real well. We broke like, all of the ones they sent us to try and break-- failure at the head tube fixture.
