Movie review: Control

[GOAT]

Got to finally watch this today. Control as a movie does a great job focusing on Joy Division and particularly the life of lead singer Ian Curtis starting from childhood to suicide at the peak of his career. I consider it a good watch if you're a joy division fan. If you are not a fan or are going in blind, you'll end up saying WTF was that?

I remember hearing "Transmission" for the first time, it was like a message from outer space, that bassline thumping away. Late night on the headphones, from the college about 30mi away. I must have been about... 13?
