You will love it here, there are several of us here on base that are big into off-roading. You will have to re-post when you arrive.

So how is your rig set up now?

As of right now it's nothing big. 98' wrangler with a 2"BB on there now with OME shocks with some home made discos. Some 30x9.5 wrangler M/Tr's wrapping around some black steelies. I just picked up some superior 30 spline d35 axle shafts and saving up for an ox for both the d35 and the d30. I'll have some cheapo 6" pocket style fender flares on there within the next week for inspection purposes here in Germany. I still have the weak stock 4-cyl under the hood. but in the future I would love to throw an ls2 in there. But that's farrrr down the road. I still have many other things I want to do to it first.

I heard its suppost to be a high of 49degrees thur and friday. So all this talk of St. Geezy keeps sounding better and better..

Are there any big runs going on down south in oct or nov that anyone knows about??

St. George 4 Wheelin

Hey everyone,
I am trying to plan a trip from Salt Lake to Southern Utah this coming weekend. I was planning on heading to Cedar City at three peaks but it may too cold and rainy so we may make our way to St. George. Is the west rim trail system actually worth taking a 4 hour drive from salt lake to play around there?
thanks,
Taylor

that trail looks way fun, I was going to go down there and just wing it but decided not to because of the long drive from sandy and the great possibility of not finding anything. is there someone who would be willing to show us around if we came down? (jeeping)

I would be willing to take you on the west rim and slip lock...those are the only 2 that I "know". I would have to know about 2 weeks in advance though to ask for time off. And if it's a holiday weekend i probably wouldn't be able to go...(ie thanksgiving, christmas) But either way just let me know...even if I can't get work off we can go out after 5 when i get off.

thanks, it is hard to give advance notice because I do just about every trip on the spur of the moment but I will see if I can get something planned ahead. I have always wanted to go wheelin in St. George.
